I have some friends visiting. Do you offer guest passes?

Where are you located?
We are located at 5101 Sanderlin Ave., in the Sanderlin Centre next to the Paradiso Movie Theater. You can find us in suite #108, between Muddy's Bake Shop and City Silo.
Is barre safe during pregnancy?
YES! In fact, we've had great success stories with pre and postnatal training and our instructors are trained to offer modifications when necessary to ensure a safe and effective workout during pregnancy. Always remember to listen to your body and consult your physician before coming to class.
What do I need to bring or wear to a barre class?
What should I expect at my first class?
Expect to get a total body workout from your head all the way to your pointed toe. Although our program is designed to allow each person to work at his or her own level, you want to work your muscles to fatigue in every class. Expect your legs to shake and burn through each sprint and think about moving in the form of a contraction, rather than a big dip or swing. You should also not worry about feeling out of breath or as some put it... out of shape. We purposely add a cardio element to our classes, making them more athletic and faster paced than a traditional barre studio. Remember, if it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you, and you will literally get stronger with every class!
What is barre?
Barre is a fitness method that combines elements of yoga, pilates, and ballet strength training. In a barre class you will use tiny isometric movements to carve and sculpt the entire body. The result is a work out that is easy on the joints while increasing muscle definition, flexability, and posture.
What makes Neighborhood Barre different?
Not all barre studios are created equal.
Do you offer private classes or events?
Absolutely! We are happy to offer a private class for corporate functions, girls' night out, a bachelorette party, or other functions. Private classes are $100 and up to 20 people can attend.
